IMPORTANT: During Oktoberfest traffic can be very heavy going by taxi may cause unnecessary delays. Use the metro / U-Bahn, to go directly to the trade show / Messe Munich. Exit at the Ost Eingang stop. Take the U-Bahn to the Oktoberfest. Travel on the U4 or the U5 and exit at the Theresienwiese stop.
